Brooke is 23 lbs and 31 inches tall now. She waves and shakes/nods her head, talks constantly (she uses her hands when she talks...she's a very expressive talker), runs, is quite the climber, and loves going down slides. She has 12 teeth and I think she's starting to get 4 more. We took a mommy and Brooke trip to the Children's Museum last Friday and had SO much fun! We went around 3 PM and there were hardly any people there so Brooke was able to really explore the museum. She didn't want to leave.

14 Months
Hopefully this video will load. It's of Brooke dancing/spinning/being silly tonight while Daddy and Evan practice for next Friday's show.
Brooke got roseola again this summer! It was TERRIBLE this time around.
She's so sneaky!
Admiring her stacking skills.
Working VERY hard at coloring. Yes...She is right handed. William and I both are lefties...this is going to be strange!
Helping daddy write a new song "Catch 22".
Playing in the tent and tunnel with daddy :-)
Brooke has gotten really good at stacking. We call it "on top."

A Trip to the Museum with Daddy :-)
William was finally able to take a day off work to spend with us not doing work around the house. We took full advantage of it and headed to the Children's Museum for the afternoon. Thanks for the membership Mom!!
First we went to PlayScape.
She enjoyed exploring and watching all the big kids play.
Of course her baby doll came with. Here she is climbing down a little hill feet first.
Brooke screams with delight all the way down the slide.
Brooke made a new friend :-)
She climbed into this play area with no trouble.
Next we went to ScienceWorks. She tried so hard to play with this boy, but he was very worried that she would knock down what he was building. Of course she tried to knock it down :-)
Brooke is clapping her hands and dancing in this picture.
Getting in the diaper bag for a snack.
She thought it was neat that she could climb under to see the trains.
Brooke LOVES the dinosaur area.
Climbing...of course.
Here's a picture of Brooke from when we went to the Museum with the Miller's. She walked around the dino area wearing this for at least an hour!

13 months
July went by so fast I hardly took any pictures :-(
This is what she did for at least an hour after taking a bath one day.
Look at all those teeth!!
1 year old!
Wow! This past year has flown by! Our baby is now a year old, walking really well, talking lots, and getting 6 more teeth. I guess she's no longer a baby, but a toddler :-( Brooke had her 2nd trip to both the Zoo and Children's Museum. She also got to visit with the Millers again.
Another baby doll YAY!
Grandma and Grandpa Dawson are in trouble for getting her noisy toys!
She and the cat love playing in the tunnel.
She wasn't quite sure what to think about her cupcake...Sorry Aunt Angie!
She LOVES the cat...
and Uncle Brandon!
But not so much the pool.
